Result

"The Book Thief" is a story of depth and darkness but also playfulness. The cover needed to convey brokenness turned in to beauty. 

​

This novel told the story of a young girl living in Germany during WWII. As she learns to read, she begins to understand the power of literature and how it has been used to negatively impact the environment she lives in. She is realizing the potential she has to inspire those around her despite her circumstances.
